Privacy policy
colbyobiwan.com ("the app") provides analytics for the account owner's own TikTok account. It does not collect data about visitors or other TikTok users.
What we collect
Only after the account owner signs in with TikTok and approves access, the app receives, through TikTok's official API:
- Basic profile information: display name, avatar and an account identifier.
- Account statistics: follower, following, like and video counts.
- Information about his own public videos: title, description, posting time, duration, cover image, link, and view, like, comment and share counts.
The app does not collect the content of comments, direct messages, contacts, or any information about viewers. Comment text is only processed if the account owner enters it.
How it's used
- To show charts of account and video performance over time.
- To produce analysis and summaries. To do this, statistics and any text the account owner enters are sent to Anthropic's Claude API, which processes it under its commercial terms and does not use API data to train its models.
Data is never sold, shared for advertising, or used for any other purpose.
Storage and security
Data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure. TikTok access tokens are encrypted at rest. Access requires sign-in and is limited to the account owner and people they authorize.
Retention and deletion
Data is kept while the TikTok connection is active. The account owner can disconnect at any time from the app's settings, which revokes access and deletes the stored tokens, with the option to delete all stored statistics. Access can also be removed in the TikTok app under Settings → Security → Apps and services.
